The control module uses these digital inputs to monitor and control the process. This description describes the specifications and operation of digital input modules for IMDSI12, IMDSI13, IMDSI14 and IMDSI15 modules. It details the procedures required to complete the setup, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and replacement of the module. IMDSI12 has the same function as the existing IMDSI02 module, except that IMDSI2 only provides 17 ms of jitter removal filter time. With the correct jumper settings, any IMDSI1 module can directly replace the IMDSI02 module. For example, IMDSI13 module can replace IMDSI02 module. All jumpers of this module are set to 24 VDC and have a 17 millisecond jitter filter. The system engineer or technician using IMDSI1 digital input module should read and understand this instruction before operating the module.
