1.硬件的區(qū)別
工業(yè)路由器的LAN口一般只有4個以下,而交換機的LAN口數(shù)量在4-48口不等。工業(yè)路由器有WAN口并且支持手機卡上網(wǎng),而交換機不行。工業(yè)路由器帶wifi芯片,而工業(yè)交換機沒有。
2.工作層次不同
工業(yè)交換機工作在OSI的第二層,而工業(yè)路由器工作在OSI的第三層。由于工業(yè)交換機工作在OSI的第二層(數(shù)據(jù)鏈路層),所以它的工作原理比較簡單,而工業(yè)路由器工作在OSI的第三層(網(wǎng)絡層),可以得到更多的協(xié)議信息,工業(yè)路由器可以做出更加智能的轉(zhuǎn)發(fā)決策。
3.數(shù)據(jù)轉(zhuǎn)發(fā)所依據(jù)的對象不同
工業(yè)交換機是利用MAC地址來確定轉(zhuǎn)發(fā)數(shù)據(jù)的目的地址。而工業(yè)路由器則是利用IP地址來確定數(shù)據(jù)轉(zhuǎn)發(fā)的地址。IP地址是在軟件中設置的,描述的是設備所在的網(wǎng)絡,這些第三層的地址也稱為協(xié)議地址或者網(wǎng)絡地址。without the customer understanding the complex Modbus protocol and CRC verification algorithm.
